Our Perspective: |
| We believe that horses are happiest and healthiest when they are allowed to be horses. We believe that horses are meant to breathe fresh air, roam the fields and be part of a group. For this reason, we feel that it is the best practice to allow horses to move freely outside whenever possible. We bring the horses in for extremes in temperature and hostile conditions, but otherwise they are free to roam the meadows, lay in the sunshine and nap in the shade. |

Peace of Mind ensures the highest standards of care for your horses. Specializing in equine care for over 20 years allows us to guarantee the finest quality of care and attention toward your horses. We treat your horses like they are one of our own, with kindness, attention and a loving hand. We take great pride in the health and happiness of our own equines as well as our customers animals.
We welcome all horses but specialize in those that need extra TLC such as post adoption, post rescue, fearful horses, semi and full retirees as well as special needs horses (founder prone, laminitis prone, chronic pulmonary disorders etc).
| Our facility is small, rustic and comfortable. Come enjoy our historic barn, adorned with many antiques all original to the property. The barn here, a historic structure constructed of hand hewn beams and pegs gives the farm an element of yesteryear. |

We are proud to offer exceptional care and attention to your equine here at our privately owned and operated family farm near the beautiful Liberty reservoir, and surrounding watershed trails. Our family resides here at the farm, ensuring that your horse is monitored regularly throughout the day, 7 days a week. Cared for only by our family, who all share the same core values of humane, loving treatment to all living things.
So many people have come to realize that a state of the art facility full of amenities, packed with activity, and complete with a huge price, doesn't necessarily mean quality horse care.
We want you to feel welcome here, our hours of operation are 7 days a week from dawn to dusk. We welcome your presence here.

We are a short hack to hours of riding around the beautiful Liberty Reservoir trails for you and your horses enjoyment and relaxation. Liberty watershed offers hours of enjoyment from our location. Or feel free to take a quiet hack around our own 18+ acres here. We offer open meadow and trails for your enjoyment. Whether you want to take a quiet short hack around the meadow or spend the day navigating the bounty of trails that the watershed has to offer, all of your leisure riding needs can be met here. |

All Inclusive Care for your Equine - ($425 per month)
Bi-Daily feeding of high quality grain/pellets in the comfort of your horses stall.
Top quality hay in turnout, as well as when stalled.
Your horse will have a designated, clean, bedded stall when needed (inclement weather / tacking
up / grooming, feeding) .
Horses are brought into a stall at the discretion of barn management during
inclement weather as well.
Turn in / Turn out
Special Services Included-
Fly spraying / Mask application complimentary (spray and mask supplied by owner).
Blanketing complimentary.
Supplements or medications administered complimentary after supplied at owners expense.
Hoof oil and ointments applied complimentary (products
supplied by owner).
Scheduled wormer and administration complimentary, type and frequency as recommended by our attending veterinarian ( wormer supplied by stable).
Trim work on unshod horses every 8 weeks is included in this price and holding for blacksmith is complimentary.
Scheduling of blacksmith and veterinary appointments as needed as well as direct communication with veterinarian and blacksmith regarding plan of care.
*Additional fees for feed costs on hard keepers will be incurred.
We routinely update our clients with their horses status for the week, reflecting on herd behaviors, changes in your horses needs or plan of care, we often include photography of your horse as well for your enjoyment.
Additional
Services Available-
Horse Transporting - $50 / hr, minimum 3 hours. We will trailer you to local
events and locations - call for quotes,
Current boarders may qualify for discounted trailering fees.
* We currently are not able to provide horse transporting / trailering services.
Wound care and bandaging, ointment application
Emergency veterinary technician skills and experience
Holding for veterinarian during exams and procedures
