About Ryan
Industries, Inc.
Our History, Our Philosophy, Our Key Personnel

Our History
Ryan Industries, Inc. was founded in August of 1989 with the startup of
Good Samaritan Towing. We started out with a 1980 Holmes 440 conventional tow truck,
because that's what type of equipment was used back in the olden days. Since then we have
added other trucks, including two Rollback Car Carriers.
In December of 1991, we purchased
Brown Motor Company, Inc. This business specialized in Honda and Acura
auto repairs and maintenance, however was in financial trouble, but had great
market potential. With this acquisition, the towing company was moved to 12360 Owings Mills Blvd., Reisterstown, MD. We built the company back up and
eventually renamed it Integrity Honda Auto Service.
Majestic Limousine was started in September
of 1993 with the purchase of our first limousine. The limousine business was originally
intended to only be a sideline business, but soon grew to become another well known name
in our area.
On December 30, 1997,
this website was introduced with the purchase of our domain name TakingCareOfBusiness.Com, and on October 1, 1998 our company CyberTec
Website Design and Hosting was founded. CyberTec specializes in the creation of websites for
small businesses and Microsoft® FrontPage® web hosting.
In May of 1999, Joe married his girlfriend of 2 years,
and suddenly things started changing, and much for the better. At this
time, Lauren brought two big horses to the marriage. For the first year
for the horses, we rented a small studio in-law apartment, attached to an old
rancher on a 10 acre horse farm in Greenspring Valley, while aggressively
looking for a new home. In June of 2000, we purchased our
wonderful 18 1/2 acre horse farm in Reisterstown, Maryland, and started to
settle down. Within the next 4 years, the Ryans' gave birth to three
babies, two daughters and one son.
In February of 2000 owner, Joe Ryan, accepted a full time position with
the Baltimore County Fire Department as a Career Firefighter and Emergency
Medical Technician. On June
21st, 2001 Majestic Limousine Service was sold,
but unfortunately the new owner was not able to survive the hard times following
the September 11, 2001 world trade center terrorist attacks. While owner, Joe Ryan,
was working fulltime with the fire department, our auto repair specialty business became
a part time operation, until the last day of 2001, when we unhappily closed our auto repair shop on Owings Mills Blvd.
Then in 2003, a former employee, purchased our first
enterprise, Good Samaritan Towing, and this great
company is still busily operating full time,
maintaining the same business practices
of very high levels of customer
service and satisfaction.
Based on Lauren's love of horses, Ryan Industries
has since founded three additional businesses, Peace of Mind Horse Boarding Farm,
Peace of Mind Horse Sitting Service and Precious Cargo Horse Transporting.
Also currently, CyberTec Website
Design and Hosting is still providing professional and personal website creation and hosting
services working from our home office in Reisterstown, Maryland.
